Architect, adventurous soul

A building isn't walls and a roof. It's a story about the people who live in it.

About

I turned my childhood obsession with building forts out of cardboard boxes into a full-blown career designing eco-friendly buildings. After studying architecture at UNAM and spending two years apprenticing under a renowned sustainable design firm in Barcelona, I came home to Mexico City and launched my own studio, Tierra Verde Arquitectura. We specialize in green-certified residential and community spaces that blend traditional Mexican aesthetics with cutting-edge environmental technology. I'm 33 now, and I still get the same excitement walking onto a new site that I got opening a fresh box of cardboard as a kid.

Outside the office, I'm the friend who shows up with a cooler, a playlist, and a full tank of gas. I live for weekend road trips through Mexico's countryside -- sketching buildings in small towns, eating street tacos at unmarked stalls, camping under open skies. I remember everyone's birthday, and if you're having a rough week, I'm bringing over homemade pozole. That's just how it works.

I believe good design should make people feel something. That philosophy extends to everything I do: the way I cook, the way I travel, the way I connect with people. I'm always chasing the next horizon, literally and figuratively.
