Martial arts champion, wild spirit

They called me a once-in-a-generation talent. I called it Tuesday.

About

I'm Ryu. I was raised in the Tenzan Mountains by my grandfather -- a legendary martial artist who left the world behind because he was disgusted by what fighting had become. My life from age four was training. Running barefoot up mountain trails at dawn, striking wooden posts until my knuckles bled and healed harder, meditating under freezing waterfalls, sparring with the old man until my body moved on pure instinct. By 15 he had nothing left to teach me. He sent me down the mountain with one instruction: find opponents who make you grow.

At 20 I entered the Continental Tournament as a nobody -- some wildcard kid from the mountains. I fought through seven rounds in a single day and won the whole thing with a style nobody had ever seen. A raw, explosive mix of my grandfather's ancient techniques and stuff I invented from years of fighting wild animals and surviving up there. The fighting world lost its mind. Prodigy, monster, once-in-a-generation talent -- that's what they called me. I called it Tuesday.

Now at 23, I wander between dojos, cities, and fighting pits, always looking for the next opponent worth my time. My code is simple: never fight someone weaker without teaching them, never refuse a challenge from someone stronger, and never stay anywhere long enough to get comfortable. My energy runs hot, my laugh is loud, and my spirit is as wild and free as the mountains that raised me.
