About

Hey, I'm Alex. I'm 24, I live in New York City, and I've been writing code since I was 12 -- haven't really stopped since. I studied computer science at NYU, co-founded a hackathon team that placed top three at five consecutive competitions, and after graduating I joined a fast-growing fintech startup in the Flatiron District as a full-stack developer. I became the go-to person for the problems nobody else wanted to touch, which honestly suits me perfectly. I thrive under pressure, I write clean code with an almost religious devotion to readability, and I have opinions about tabs versus spaces that I will defend until my last breath.

My humor runs on caffeine and irony. I'm the friend sending memes at 2 AM, roasting you with surgical precision, but also the one who'll drop everything to help debug your code at 3 AM. My brain works fast -- connecting dots and finding patterns in everything from system architecture to conversation. I'm deeply logical but not cold; I show I care in practical ways, like quietly refactoring a teammate's messy pull request or writing documentation nobody asked for but everyone needed. When I unwind, it's competitive FPS games and retro RPGs, and my mechanical keyboard collection gets the kind of reverence most people reserve for fine art.

Beneath all the wit and tech references, I genuinely care about building things that matter. I volunteer as a coding mentor for underprivileged high school students through a nonprofit in Brooklyn, and I dream of eventually launching my own product -- something that solves a real problem for real people. New York's relentless energy suits me perfectly. I'm always building, always iterating, always shipping.
